Goodwood Atoms’ blend of ethereal folk, electronic-inflected grooves and heavy-hitting climaxes echoes the complex soundscapes of progressive indie bands like Half Moon Run, Alt-J & Radiohead. Formed in 2014, Goodwood Atoms grew out of the scene at Vancouver’s Juniper Room, an underground studio and performance venue that has been the brainchild of frontman Francis Hooper. What began as an acoustic collaboration between Hooper and bassist Joe Pooley grew into a rich tapestry of sound with the addition of guitarist/violinist Dawson Verboven & Berklee-trained drummer Justin Banmann.
